Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead shop floor operations, ensuring production deadlines are met while maintaining high precision standards for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily production team activities to achieve operational targets efficiently
  • Allocate manpower strategically to optimize productivity and meet deadlines
  • Train and mentor junior operators on machine safety protocols and best operational practices
  • Operate production machines during peak periods to maintain workflow continuity
  • Set up and perform changeovers on metal stamping and precision spring machinery
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and execute minor adjustments to minimize downtime
  • Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify parts against technical drawings
  • Use precision measuring tools to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications
  • Identify defects promptly and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap and rework
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
  • Analyze production line bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements to enhance efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in metal stamping or precision spring manufacturing
  • Proficient in operating and setting up production machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints
  • Experienced in using precision measuring instruments and understanding ISO quality standards
  • Strong communication skills to effectively manage a diverse production team

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing
