About the Role
We are seeking a proactive IT Analyst to support the management and optimisation of IT systems and infrastructure. This role involves maintaining system performance, providing user support, supporting IT initiatives, and ensuring secure and reliable IT operations across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the planning and implementation of IT standardization initiatives, infrastructure solutions, and cybersecurity controls.
- Contribute to IT projects that enhance business growth, automation, and overall user experience across the organization.
- Manage and optimize IT systems, including infrastructure, network, cloud services, enterprise applications, and productivity platforms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including IT asset inventory, system configurations, and operational procedures; support performance monitoring and capacity planning activities, and contribute to periodic reporting.
- Proactively ensure high system availability and performance; monitor alerts and respond to incidents, including potential security threats.
- Perform incident and problem management, including coordination with vendors and stakeholders for root cause analysis and resolution.
- Provide end-user technical support across multiple levels, ensuring timely resolution and strong user satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Support the health and readiness of IT infrastructure, including backup and disaster recovery processes and testing.
- Manage and coordinate with external service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
- Support and maintain office technology systems, including security and monitoring solutions where applicable.
- Track and manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, assignment, and disposal.
- Undertake additional tasks, responsibilities, or projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Strong command of English, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently, and to produce concise documentation, reports, and user guidance.
- Mature, dependable, and able to work effectively with colleagues across different functions and backgrounds.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work closely with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to achieve shared goals.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Self-motivated and proactive learner, with a keen interest in staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, routing, VLANs, high availability, load balancing, and firewalling is an advantage.
