Finance Manager (Financial Service/Tech)

About the Role

We are representing our client in search for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing team in Singapore. This role will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations across Singapore and overseas entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, group accounting policies, and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts for Singapore and overseas entities, including expense claim reviews, journal entry preparation and review, month-end closing, and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee accounting activities for overseas entities and review the quality and accuracy of work performed by outsourced accounting service providers.
• Coordinate and support tax filing and compliance matters in Singapore and overseas jurisdictions.
• Maintain day-to-day relationships with local banks, including bank reconciliations, account opening support, KYC documentation, and banking correspondence.
• Liaise with external auditors to facilitate annual statutory audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and management explanations.
• Support group management reporting, financial analysis, and compliance requirements.
• Assist with finance operations and accounting reviews for Singapore and other business entities.
• Collaborate closely with headquarters to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information in accordance with group accounting policies and reporting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and Singapore tax regulations.
• Familiarity with U.S. or Hong Kong tax regulations will be an advantage.
• Singapore CA qualification (completed or in progress), AICPA, HKICPA, or equivalent professional certifications are preferred.
• Prior experience in the Financial Services, FinTech, Technology, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Experience with a Big Four accounting firm or a reputable accounting practice in Singapore is an advantage.
• Knowledge of US GAAP or Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards will be a plus.
