Initia Group in Malaysia are looking for a dynamic Project Coordinator! The Creator behind Walking on Sunshine 163, MODU TRX, Kantik by GOYO TRX & Goyo KLGCC!

The Project Coordinator will support outlet operations and internal project activities by planning, tracking progress, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Candidates with experience in kitchen equipment suppliers, F&B operations, construction, renovations, or project management are highly preferred. If you’re passionate about projects, renovations, and F&B operations, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Job Level: Junior Level / with adequate project management related experience

Department: Project Operations Department

Location: ROTATIONAL, default location : TRX Forum

Salary: RM 4,500 - RM 6,000

Working days: 5 or 6 days a week (Different Salary)

THE JOB:

• Oversee and manage all stages of store renovation, fit-out, and construction projects from planning to handover.
• Coordinate with contractors, designers, consultants, vendors, and kitchen equipment suppliers to ensure timelines, budgets, and design specifications are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality, and enforce safety compliance.
• Prepare and review project schedules, cost estimates, and progress reports.
• Liaise with landlords, authorities, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution and handover.
• Troubleshoot project issues, anticipate delays, and propose effective solutions.
• Manage procurement of materials and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Report to Higher Management & highlight potential issues or roadblocks during the project period.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Relevant working experience in construction projects, site supervision, retail, F&B operations, commercial fit-out projects, or kitchen equipment supplier industry.
• Experience in F&B outlet setup, kitchen equipment coordination, and renovation projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and vendor management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Own transport and willing to travel between sites within KL Malaysia.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
