Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Location: Gelang Patah, Johor
Employment Type: Permanent

Job Responsibilities

• Provide first-level and second-level IT support for hardware, software, network, printers, and email-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and IT peripherals.
• Support Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and company business systems.
• Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and network equipment.
• Perform user account administration, password resets, and access management.
• Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting, maintenance, and procurement of IT equipment.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation of IT records.
• Carry out system backups, software updates, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support IT setup for new employees, office relocations, and project sites.
• Provide technical support during emergencies and after normal working hours when required.
• Travel to project sites and company offices across Peninsular Malaysia to provide on-site IT support.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies and cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in IT support or system administration. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiar with routers, switches, printers, CCTV, and basic server administration.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Possess own transport and valid driving license.
• Willing to travel frequently across Peninsular Malaysia.
• Willing to work beyond normal office hours and provide support during weekends or urgent situations when required.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
