Job Purpose:

To create compelling visual stories that inspire women, strengthen the Hegira brand, and drive customer engagement across digital and retail touchpoints.

The Junior Videographer & Content Creator is responsible for planning, producing, shooting and editing creative visual content that supports product launches, marketing campaigns, social media, e-commerce and brand storytelling. This role works closely with the Creative Marketing team to bring ideas to life through engaging, high-quality content across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Production

• Plan, conceptualise and execute creative video shoots for product launches, seasonal campaigns, promotions, branding initiatives and corporate communications.
• Capture high quality video footage of products, fashion collections, lifestyle content, events, interviews and behind the scenes moments.
• Produce engaging short form and long form content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, website and e-commerce platforms.
• Showcase product features, styling ideas, fabric movement, colours and craftsmanship through compelling visuals.
• Ensure all content reflects Hegira's brand identity and visual standards.

2. Video Editing & Post Production

• Edit video content using professional editing software.
• Enhance videos with graphics, animations, transitions, subtitles, music and sound effects where appropriate.
• Optimise video formats for various digital platforms.
• Deliver content according to campaign timelines while maintaining high creative standards.
• Organise project files and maintain an efficient editing workflow.

3. Photography Support

• Assist in product photography, campaign photography and lifestyle shoots.
• Capture high-resolution images for marketing materials, catalogues, website and social media.
• Ensure product images accurately represent colours, textures and fabric details.

4. Creative Development & Storytelling

• Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns and product launches.
• Translate campaign briefs into engaging visual stories.
• Contribute fresh creative ideas that strengthen Hegira's brand positioning.
• Work closely with Graphic Designers, Content Executives and Marketing team members throughout the creative process.
• Recommend new ways of presenting products through visual storytelling.

5. Social Media & Trend Research

• Stay updated with the latest social media trends, especially TikTok, Instagram Reels.
• Research fashion, lifestyle and content trends relevant to Hegira's audience.
• Observe competitor campaigns and recommend creative improvements.
• Experiment with new filming techniques, transitions and editing styles to improve engagement.

6. Equipment & Digital Asset Management

• Operate and maintain cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, gimbals and other production equipment.
• Organise and archive video footage, photographs and digital assets systematically.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and ready for production.

7. Event & Campaign Support

• Support content production during product launches, roadshows, exhibitions and corporate events.
• Assist with live streaming and special marketing projects when required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Minimum Qualification:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia, Film Production, Creative Media, Mass Communication, Graphic Design or related disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Internship, freelance or university project experience will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Candidates should have basic knowledge of:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects (basic)
• CapCut Pro
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Lightroom
• Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment and audio recording will be an advantage.
• Experience operating gimbals, drones or professional production equipment is an added advantage but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Senawang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Video Editor: 1 year (Preferred)
• Content Creator: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
