Job Description

  1. Take full commercial and operational ownership of Data Center project logistics from project planning through final delivery.

  2. Plan, coordinate, and supervise the transportation of project cargo and regular shipments by road, air, sea, and other transportation modes.

  3. Serve as the primary interface between clients, EPC contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and internal offices to ensure seamless project execution.

  4. Develop, review, and implement efficient logistics processes, procedures, and best practices to optimize operational performance.

  5. Monitor project schedules, identify potential risks, and proactively resolve logistics challenges to minimize project delays.

  6. Evaluate the quality, schedule performance, and compliance of subcontractors and suppliers.

  7. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Data Center industry, supporting tender submissions and commercial proposals.

  8. Support the establishment and growth of the Project Logistics team in Johor Bahru, including recruitment, mentoring, and leadership of local team members.

  9. Ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, project documentation, and effective commercial management throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience in Project Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, or Project Management.

  • Hands-on experience supporting Data Center construction projects is highly preferred. Candidates with experience delivering logistics solutions for mission-critical facilities, hyperscale data centers, or major infrastructure projects will be given strong preference.

  • Solid understanding of project cargo transportation, multimodal logistics, heavy-lift operations, and time-critical deliveries.

  • Experience working with Data Center owners, EPC contractors, general contractors, or key stakeholders involved in mission-critical construction projects.

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets, contracts, client relationships, and business development activities.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, international project environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Experience building, leading, and developing project teams is an advantage.
