Job Summary:

A Maintenance Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing maintenance strategies to ensure equipment, machinery, and facilities operate efficiently and reliably. The role focuses on minimizing downtime, improving performance, and ensuring safety compliance through technical expertise and preventive maintenance planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

• Analyze equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, or automation issues.

• Plan and oversee repair work, shutdowns, and maintenance schedules.

• Ensure all machinery complies with safety and regulatory standards.

• Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, and inventory control.

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.

• Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and maintenance records.

• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of industrial systems, machinery, and equipment.

• Familiarity with preventive/predictive maintenance techniques.

• Experience with PLC systems, automation, or control systems (preferred).

• Understanding of safety regulations and standards.
