Support other departments with Company to construct efficient and robust organization.
Research and source for local partners to introduce ideas or products to Tokyo HQ for new funds development in Japan.
Act as liaison between Singapore office and Tokyo HQ including but not limited to Fund Managers, to communicate closely and collaborate in various business areas and markets in APAC.
Job requirements
At least 10 years of experience in Financial industry and have enough knowledge in portfolio management
Ability to accurately understand our product lineup and strategies (primarily Japanese equity strategies) and to engage in in-depth product development discussions in Japanese
Ability to actively conduct research on the Japanese economy and equity market to answer clients’ questions
Possess Japanese language skill of JLPT N1 or equivalent for effective communication with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
Preferred skills and knowledge
Good knowledge of Japanese equity market and mutual fund regulatory guidelines
Good knowledge of UCITS structure
Good knowledge of fund accounting
Good knowledge of performance analysis tool
Possession of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CMA (Certified Member Analyst of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan), or equivalent qualifications is preferred. Candidates who are currently in the process of obtaining these certifications are also acceptable
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word/PowerPoint/Access/Excel)
