Facilities & Operations Coordinator
Brief
We are looking for a proactive, hands-on, and resourceful Facilities & Operations Coordinator to ensure our facilities, equipment, and event spaces are maintained to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities
Facilities Maintenance & Upkeep
- Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, functional, and visually appealing at all times.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, including minor painting, light bulb replacement, furniture repairs, and equipment upkeep.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
Event & Space Setup Coordination
- Prepare and transform event spaces for meetings, workshops, corporate functions, and special events.
- Coordinate furniture arrangements, room layouts, equipment setup, and post-event restoration.
- Ensure all event areas are fully operational and presentation-ready.
Operational & Logistics Support
- Handle the movement, installation, and placement of furniture, gym equipment, appliances, and other operational assets.
- Support day-to-day facility operations to ensure smooth business activities.
- Monitor equipment condition and coordinate repairs or replacements when necessary.
Vendor & Service Provider Management
- Serve as the primary liaison with external vendors, contractors, handymen, landscapers, and service providers.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, repairs, and facility improvement works.
- Ensure all vendor services are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Support workplace safety initiatives and ensure facilities comply with safety standards.
- Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and operational risks in a timely manner.
- Assist with emergency preparedness and facility-related compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in facilities, operations, maintenance, or a related field.
- Hands-on approach with basic maintenance and repair skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable handling equipment and operational tasks.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of a valid driving license is an added advantage.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
