We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead all kitchen operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality food, consistency, and exceptional dining experiences
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Develop, review, and improve menu offerings in line with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate kitchen staff to maintain high performance and productivity.
- Monitor food quality, taste, portion control, and presentation before serving.
- Manage food costs, kitchen expenses, and wastage to achieve profitability targets.
- Plan kitchen schedules and manpower allocation to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Collaborate with management on promotions, seasonal menus, and special events.
- Resolve kitchen-related operational issues and implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements :
- Certificate, Diploma, or Professional Qualification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of culinary experience with at least 2–3 years in a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager role.
- Experience in restaurant, café, hotel, or F&B operations is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and menu development.
- Understanding of food costing, inventory management, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, GMP, or equivalent).
- Ability to manage kitchen equipment and operational procedures.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
