Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to the established maintenance schedule.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, an repair machine breakdowns in a timely and effective manner to minimize production downtime
- Analyze and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues, including CNC Machines (FANUC, MITSUBISHI, or equivalent systems)
- Support machine installation, relocation, setup, commissioning, and validation activities as required
- Monitor machine performance and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and optimize maintenance practices.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdown reports, spare parts consumption, and equipment history
- Assist in managing critical spare parts inventory and provide recommendations for stock replenishment
- Ensure all machines, equipment, and facilities are maintained in a safe and operational condition in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Support maintenance requirements across both Paradigm Aerospace and Paradigm Precision Components sites, including inter-company assignments and emergency breakdown support when required
- Adhere to all safety, health, environmental, and company policies, procedures, and work instructions at all times.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and corrective action activities related to maintenance functions
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time
Minimum Requirements (Education & Work Experience)
Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of hands on experience in machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment (CNC Machining, aerospace, or precision engineering preferred).
Strong knowledge in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Experience in troubleshooting CNC Machine(Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or equivalent control systems) is highly preferred.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and machine manuals
Familiar with preventive maintenance systems and breakdown analysis.
Experience in supporting machine installation, setup, and commissioning activities
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / OEE improvement concepts will be an advantage
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities across different sites (PPC & PA)
willing to work flexible hours including overtime or shift support when required.
good communication skills and able to coordinate with Production, Engineering and other departments
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM4,600.00 per hour
