Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Security Systems Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and preparing technical drawings for security systems projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed security systems design drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or other relevant design software.
• Develop design documentation for systems including:CCTV Surveillance SystemsAccess Control Systems Intrusion Alarm Systems Intercom Systems Video Management Systems (VMS) Perimeter Security Systems
• Interpret architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings to coordinate security system designs.
• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, single-line diagrams, and installation details.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Technical Teams to ensure design accuracy and project requirements are met.
• Review project specifications, tender documents, and client requirements to develop suitable system designs.
• Assist in system sizing, equipment selection, and cable routing design.
• Revise drawings and documentation based on project changes and client feedback.
• Maintain proper document control and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, local regulations, and company procedures.
• Provide technical support during project execution when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Security Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in security systems design, ELV systems, or a similar technical drafting role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of security systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and Intercom Systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Experience with BIM/Revit or other design software will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with security system manufacturers such as Genetec, Milestone, LenelS2, Gallagher, Avigilon, Bosch, Hikvision, Axis, or equivalent.
• Understanding of structured cabling and network infrastructure.
• Experience in preparing tender and submission drawings.
