Responsibilities
Negotiate with vendors to ensure required delivery dates are met, resolve escalated issues within execution horizon, eg. expedite/ de-expedite not agreed by suppliers.
Provide visibility into material constraints, changes to the supplier delivery dates and any bottlenecks (operational) to other Planners
Conduct regular demand reviews with suppliers to help identify any potential supply issues in the future
Support identification of opportunities to increase agility with suppliers
Projects - Inventory Reduction Initiative
Inventory Analysis of individual category
Requirements
2 to 3 years experience in Supply Chain, preferably with experience in materials/supply planning, sourcing / purchasing and supplier management
Knowledge of supply management / collaboration, inventory management and procurement
Advanced knowledge of, and experience with sourcing and supplier management activities for raw material and components in mechanics / electronics
Knowledge of, and experience with supply planning and supplier collaboration tools.
University Degree in Supply Chain or Business Management
