Full Stack Developer (AI / LLM) – Remote

Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Full-time | Team meetings twice per week

About the Role

We are a SaaS and API development company building a global trade compliance platform that provides businesses with access to tariffs, customs regulations, trade agreements, import/export requirements, anti-dumping measures, and regulatory data worldwide. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with AI/LLM expertise to help develop scalable applications, APIs, and AI-powered tools that simplify international trade compliance and regulatory research for companies around the world.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
• Design, build, and integrate AI/LLM-powered features and workflows.
• Develop APIs and microservices for application and AI integrations.
• Implement prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and AI agent workflows.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues across the stack.
• Participate in team meetings twice per week and provide project updates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, or similar).
• Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, .NET, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source LLMs.
• Experience with REST APIs, databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
