A Process Specialist leads production teams and manages manufacturing processes by setting up, operating and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure efficient, safe and high-quality production output.

Responsibilities:

• Lead teams of production operators to achieve daily production targets and maintain product quality
• Set up and adjust machine parameters to optimize production efficiency and product standards
• Operate and maintain production equipment to ensure continuous and safe manufacturing processes
• Follow production schedules and monitor output to meet planned targets
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all products meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve malfunctions promptly
• Maintain accurate production records for raw materials, packaging and finished products
• Ensure the production environment is clean and complies with safety procedures
• Apply and adhere to operating procedures and standards consistently

Required competencies and certifications

• Food Safety and Hygiene-1 certification

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec in Food Science/Technology or equivalent
• Ability to understand and converse in English
• Experience or knowledge in food production
• Basic knowledge of control systems and operation of PLC
• Basic understanding of food processing technology
• Experience with integrated manufacturing excellence, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), or similar operating systems
Willingness to work on rotating shifts (day and night)
