Job Summary

Responsible for the design, coordination, implementation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and data centre projects. Ensure all MEP systems comply with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and client requirements while delivering projects within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities :-

Mechanical Systems

• Design and review HVAC, precision cooling, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
• Perform cooling load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, ASHRAE, and relevant industry standards.

Electrical Systems

• Design LV electrical distribution systems including SLDs, cable sizing, protection coordination, grounding, and lightning protection.
• Prepare electrical load calculations and power distribution studies.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of UPS systems, generators, transformers, switchboards, and PDUs.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.

Plumbing & Fire Protection

• Design water supply, drainage, sanitary, and stormwater systems.
• Coordinate fire protection systems including sprinklers, hydrants, clean agent suppression systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and fire safety regulations.

Project Management & Coordination

• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation quality.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical support during project execution.
• Manage testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety requirements, and industry standards.
• Support authority submissions and approvals where required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Registered Graduate Engineer with BEM (preferred).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP design, construction, or project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit BIM, Microsoft Project, and engineering calculation software.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution, HVAC systems, fire protection systems, and plumbing services.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Data Centre Infrastructure.
• UPS, Generator, Precision Cooling, and Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems.
• BIM/Revit Coordination.
• Testing & Commissioning of Critical Facilities.
• Compliance with TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, JBPM, JKR, and relevant Malaysian standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
