We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to manage and optimise enterprise IT infrastructure across Microsoft and Linux environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on infrastructure professional with strong expertise in virtualization, Active Directory, storage systems, Microsoft 365, and performance optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments

• Administer VMware virtualization infrastructure and enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS)

• Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft Entra ID integration

• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange environments, and identity management

• Oversee backup, recovery, system upgrades, and infrastructure performance tuning

• Implement monitoring solutions and perform root cause analysis for complex incidents

• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash

• Ensure system security, compliance, documentation, and operational best practices

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft and Linux platforms

• Expertise in VMware, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Exchange

• Experience managing enterprise storage, backup & recovery solutions, and SQL Server environments

• Knowledge of high availability, clustering, system integration, and infrastructure optimisation

• Scripting experience using PowerShell and/or Bash

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
