PSA is currently seeking an Analyst to join our Kuala Lumpur office. Candidates who just graduated from university are encouraged to apply, especially if they have experience with writing and research.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Conduct online media and social media research.
2. Effectively collect, collate and analyze data.
3. Write and prepare reports based on research conducted.
4. Prepare and/or conduct interviews with subject matter experts.
5. Maintain accurate records of project related tasks.
6. Manage and respond to project related tasks and communications (including emails).
7. Accurately monitor project budgets.

Minimum qualifications and requirements:

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in the social sciences.
• Native or equivalent English language proficiency in reading and writing. We value multilingual candidates.
• Academic and/or work experience in the fields of political and/or social analysis, investigations or other related field of research.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at online research.
• Strong level of attention to details and good analytical skills.
• Excellent written communication skills and must be able to produce professional-level research and reports.
• Project management skills and the ability to work effectively either independently or as part of a team.
• Able to manage multiple competing deadlines and to effectively prioritize workload.
• Professional and motivated self-starter capable of delivering well researched documents with minimum supervision.
