About the Role

Ryobi Geotechnique International Pte Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Utilities Engineer to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting various projects with a focus on utilities mapping and management. You’ll collaborate with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal colleagues, including site supervisors and the reporting team, to ensure that all utility-related activities meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Supervise Subcontractors: Oversee subcontractors to ensure timely project completion and adherence to quality standards.
2. Monitor Utilities and M&E Works: Ensure that utilities and mechanical & electrical works meet statutory requirements, construction procedures, and safe work practices.
3. Identify and Resolve Issues: Manage system failures and oversee preventative maintenance to keep operations smooth.
4. Engage with Utility Agencies: Collaborate with utility agencies to update construction site progress, address utility damages, or handle unknown services.
5. Coordinate with Construction Teams: Liaise between utility agencies and construction teams on excavation works, service diversions, and reinstatement tasks near underground utility services.
6. Compile Data and Monitor Efficiency: Collect data on utility process units, track system efficiency, and monitor energy and material usage.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity
• Candidate with MRT project experienced is preferred
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, utility agencies, and internal teams
• Proficiency in engineering software such as CAD and AutoCAD
