JOB SUMMARY
To provide first-level technical support and assistance in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, hardware, software, network systems, and user support services to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide first-line technical support to users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT systems, servers, network equipment, and communication systems.
- Perform routine system checks, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting activities to ensure system reliability and availability.
- Support Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications for end users.
- Respond to user requests, service tickets, and technical incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in software installation, upgrades, updates, and system configuration activities.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, inventories, maintenance activities, and technical documentation.
- Support network connectivity, internet access, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Assist in data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity awareness activities.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance, repairs, and technical support when required.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and information security requirements.
- Participate in system testing, implementation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities when required.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and provide technical support to users.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude with the ability to assist users professionally.
- Exposure to network devices, printers, servers, CCTV systems, access control systems, or other IT infrastructure will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, IT asset management, and helpdesk operations will be an added advantage.
Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
