The Opportunity
We are looking for a Human Resources Trainee to support our people, culture, and talent initiatives.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about people development, recruitment, employee experience, and building positive workplace cultures. You will gain hands-on exposure to various HR functions while supporting a growing regional organization.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Support recruitment activities including candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
- Assist in posting job advertisements across various platforms.
- Support employer branding initiatives and talent outreach campaigns.
- Help maintain candidate databases and recruitment records.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Support onboarding activities for new team members.
- Assist in preparing onboarding materials and orientation schedules.
- Help create positive employee experiences throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Support employee engagement and team-building initiatives.
Learning & Development Support
- Coordinate internal learning and development activities.
- Assist in tracking employee training participation and development plans.
- Support the administration of internal capability-building initiatives.
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Support the preparation of HR reports, trackers, and administrative records.
- Assist in policy communication and HR process documentation.
People Analytics & Insights
- Support data collection and reporting related to recruitment, engagement, learning, and workforce development.
- Assist in preparing HR dashboards and people-related insights.
- Contribute ideas for improving employee experience and HR processes.
Culture & Organizational Development
- Support initiatives that strengthen organizational culture and team collaboration.
- Assist with internal communication and employee engagement activities.
- Participate in projects related to organizational growth and people development.
Qualifications
- Minimum secondary/high school education or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates, career starters, and individuals seeking to gain professional experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Organizational Development, or people-related functions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools and working remotely.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
