This role will be responsible for process troubleshooting, investigation and improvements for the production plant.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Review plant processes by taking measurements, interpreting data and implementing solutions to optimize production in a safe and cost-effective manner.
Responsible for process troubleshooting, investigation and improvements.
Involve and lead, if necessary, in the upcoming projects including start-up activities and pre-commissioning equipment performance check.
Champion the Operations Excellence activities in production by developing training needs and standard operating procedure (SOP) for the production members.
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Chemical Engineering.
At least 3 years’ experience in process engineering and working in a chemical plant.
Planning and organizing skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
Possess a positive attitude, strong desire to learn, good interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, diligent and with a high level of tenacity.
Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to persuade others to change existing practices.
Strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.
Proficient with computer and information technology.
Knowledge of process engineering software systems.
Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations.
