Job Description

Rotary MEC (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Procurement Engineer to join our team in Pengerang, Johor. This position is suitable for fresh graduates who are eager to build their career in procurement and project support within the Oil & Gas and Industrial Construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.
• Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support the evaluation and comparison of suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Construction, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely material delivery.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery status and resolve supply issues when required.
• Assist in maintaining supplier databases and procurement documentation.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with internship or working experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, EPC, Construction, or Oil & Gas industry will have an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to be based in Pengerang, Johor.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
