Job Scope

1. Understand machine operating principles, mechanisms, and assembly functions.
2. Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings from 3D CAD models, including part, sheet metal, assembly, and weldment drawings.
3. Apply appropriate dimensional and geometric tolerances based on design and functional requirements.
4. Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), part numbering systems, and engineering documentation.
5. Review designs for manufacturability and recommend improvements to optimize production efficiency and machining costs.
6. Assist in implementing minor design modifications and drawing updates that do not require engineering analysis or design decisions

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proficient in SOLIDWORKS, with the ability to interpret and work with complex 3D assemblies.
3. Strong understanding of GD&T fits and tolerances, hole-basis systems, and engineering drawing standards.
4. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, milling, turning, welding, sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, and assembly techniques.
5. Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in automation equipment, special-purpose machinery, industrial equipment, or machine-building industries.
