Job Title: Service Engineer – Security Systems

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Our client is a well-established multinational technology solutions provider specializing in security.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive support and maintenance services for security systems, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

The position involves troubleshooting, applying technical expertise in company products and technologies, and driving continuous improvement.

A strong emphasis is placed on building client relationships and complying with company standards, policies, and preventive maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives to resolve client security system issues in a timely manner
• Provide end-to-end support and maintenance services, including:
• Preventive maintenance
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution
• System upgrades, expansions, and modifications
• User training
• Develop and maintain detailed system drawings using AutoCAD
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction
• Support and manage maintenance contract renewals
• Deliver services in alignment with company standards, policies, and service-level requirements within the assigned region
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond effectively to daily technical issues
• Track and follow up on all open technical issues until full resolution is achieved
• Take full ownership of service-related matters following project handover from the Project team

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in security systems is an advantage (e.g., Access Control, CCTV, Alarm Systems)
• Basic IT knowledge, including hardware, networking, and databases
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to learn independently
• Customer-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
