Role
We are seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Solution Architect to serve as a technical authority for enterprise infrastructure across a globally distributed environment.
This role sits at the intersection of architecture, engineering, and strategy-shaping the design, evolution, and governance of core infrastructure platforms spanning data centres, hybrid cloud, enterprise networking, identity, and security.
You will operate at an enterprise level, influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, while driving standardisation, scalability, and resilience across both manufacturing and corporate domains.

Responsibilities
Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture

• Act as the technical authority for enterprise-wide infrastructure across global operations
• Define and govern reference architectures, standards, and design guardrails
• Oversee shared services including data centres, cloud platforms, networking, identity, and security foundations
• Collaborate with infrastructure and service leads to ensure alignment across domains

Platform Design & Modernisation

• Lead the design of scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure platforms
• Support manufacturing systems, enterprise applications, and data/analytics initiatives
• Drive modernisation across virtualisation, container platforms, storage, and network segmentation
• Architect solutions for multi-site consistency with operational simplicity

Cloud & Hybrid Strategy

• Define and evolve hybrid and multi-cloud strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Establish enterprise patterns for secure connectivity, identity federation, and cost governance
• Enable platforms for application hosting, data aggregation, and disaster recovery
• Balance cloud adoption with regulatory, IP protection, and cost considerations

Manufacturing Enablement (OSAT Context)

• Ensure infrastructure platforms meet 24/7 availability and performance requirements
• Partner across Factory IT, Site IT, Engineering, and Security teams
• Drive standardisation while enabling controlled flexibility across sites

Governance & Technical Leadership

• Contribute to architecture governance, design reviews, and lifecycle decisions
• Lead risk assessments and provide guidance on high-impact changes
• Document architectural patterns, decisions, and trade-offs for enterprise adoption
• Influence engineering and operations teams through strong technical leadership

Reliability, Security & Operations

• Embed resiliency, recoverability, and security-by-design into all platforms
• Provide leadership during major incidents and root cause analysis
• Drive continuous improvement of reliability and operational performance

Vendor & Technology Strategy

• Lead technical engagements with key vendors and strategic partners
• Conduct evaluations, POCs, and due diligence for new technologies
• Influence vendor roadmaps to align with enterprise needs
