About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join a leading banking institution and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical banking systems.

In this position, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing comprehensive testing activities across large-scale projects. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project teams, developers, and fellow testers to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring compliance with banking standards and regulatory requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a testing professional with strong banking domain knowledge, system integration testing experience, and a passion for driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Delivery

• Analyze business and functional requirements to identify testing needs and potential risks.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Ensure testing activities are delivered within project timelines and quality expectations.
• Identify issues in requirements, design specifications, and application architecture.

System Integration Testing (SIT)

• Define SIT scope, objectives, test strategies, and entry/exit criteria.
• Design and execute end-to-end integration test scenarios.
• Validate data flow and system interactions across multiple applications.
• Prepare and manage test environments and test data.
• Conduct test execution and document testing outcomes.

Defect Management

• Log, track, prioritize, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Work closely with development teams to investigate and resolve issues.
• Perform retesting and regression testing to validate fixes.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

• Prepare and present testing progress reports.
• Communicate project risks, issues, and testing status to stakeholders.
• Ensure all testing documentation complies with audit and governance requirements.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Support automation initiatives and testing best practices.
• Share knowledge and lessons learned with team members.

RequirementsEducation

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 6–10 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or Test Management.
• Experience working on medium to large-scale IT projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Experience using defect management tools such as Jira.
• Experience within the Banking or Financial Services industry is highly preferred.
• Exposure to automation testing, scripting, or software development is an advantage.
