ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Design electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies for AC(*************VAC);DC(*************VDC) power, control and instrumentation including servo motor tuning and control.
2. Design analog circuit for signal conditioning (low noise amplification) and data acquisition.
3. Plan and design layout for electrical components on electrical panels, including high power panels, in new instruments.
4. Assemble, test, and debug prototypes and specials.
5. Work with engineering and manufacturing to create customized special solutions for standard instruments.
6. Assist the manufacturing team in transferring New Products from engineering to Manufacturing.
7. Assist support, service, and manufacturing team members in learning new features/products as well as help identify, troubleshoot, and correct any defects.
8. Select alternate components due to shortages and/or obsolescence.
9. Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies.
10. Debug electronic circuits.
11. Create documentation using Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
12. Prepare Engineering change orders.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 

1. Experience 6 - 8+ years
2. Electrical circuit design.
3. Able to create schematics and build electrical assemblies.
4. Possess hands-on skill in building electrical assembly, wire harness, and cable routings.
5. Experienced in hand soldering for SMT, thru-hole or an equivalent.
6. Capable of identifying components for production release.
7. Experienced in electrical design for automated machines.
8. Electrical circuit design using design software such as Altium PCB, ACAD (DI/DO AI/AO schematics, cables), and SolidWorks(cables).
9. Possess basic circuit board design of analog and digital circuits.
10. Relevant experience with precision assembly of electrical and/or electro-mechanical devices
11. Ability to follow and understand assembly procedures, circuit schematics and wiring diagrams
12. Recommend alternate electronic components due to shortages, obsolescent, long lead times
