Lead and carry out user research activities to understand users’ goals, behaviours, and needs
Develop user models based on research insights, as well as models for other relevant domain factors
Define context scenarios and communicate stories around the ideal user experiences the team aims to achieve
Describe product or system capabilities and requirements that support users’ goals and tasks, including what successful interactions should look like
Design the overall system structure, behaviour, information flows, and workflows
Test and refine the product through evaluative research to ensure the design helps users meet their goals and complete their tasks
Build empathy and understanding for users
Qualifications
Educational background in a design discipline such as Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Able to propose design decisions that are desirable for users, viable for the business, and technically feasible
Strong understanding of underlying technology and digital mediums, such as how a web browser works and renders pixels on screen. Coding knowledge will be an added advantage
Portfolio of shipped digital projects that are currently in use
Preferably experienced in developing public-facing eServices
Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD
