We are seeking an organized, physically fit, and dependable Production Operator to join the Saint-Gobain Singapore team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient manufacture of functional paints and coatings, including raw material handling, batching, mixing, and packaging,while ensuring compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Operate production equipment such as mixers, dispersers, and filling machines.

Perform batching and weighing of raw materials (resins, pigments, solvents, additives) according to formulation.

Monitor mixing and dispersion processes to ensure product consistency and quality.

Carry out in-process quality checks (e.g. viscosity, color matching).

Transfer finished and semi-finished goods safely between production floors.

Fill, pack and label finished goods in accordance with specifications.

Clean and maintain equipment to prevent contamination between batches.

Identify and report equipment faults, process deviations or safety hazards.

Handle chemicals and hazardous materials in compliance with MSDS and safety procedures.

Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation and inventory usage.

Followall EHS regulations, including proper use of PPE.

Assist and participate in mid-year and year-end stock take activities.

Maintain good housekeeping practices.

Perform equipment setup, line clearance, and support product changeovers.

Carry out basic troubleshooting of equipment issues before escalating to maintenance.

Strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and Batch card.

Segregate and dispose of chemical waste in accordance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Support raw material issuing, return processes, and ensure stock accuracy.

Ensure weighing scales and measuring instruments are within calibration validity before use.

Participate in safety meetings, safety drills, and incident investigations when required.

Requirements

Minimum secondary education.

Forklift license preferred.

Experience in manufacturing is an advantage.

Ability to read, write and converse in simple English.

Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks (lifting, standing for long hours).

Willing to work overtime.
