We are looking for a caring and responsible Teaching Assistant to join our FLSC Student Care team in Sengkang. The role is suitable for candidates who enjoy working with children and are passionate about supporting students in their daily learning routine.

Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Supervise students during daily homework and study time.
• Guide students to complete school homework neatly, responsibly and on time.
• Support students in building good learning habits, focus and independence.
• Assist with daily student care routines, including arrival, dismissal, meals and transitions between activities.
• Maintain a safe, positive and orderly learning environment.
• Encourage students using a warm, patient and firm approach.
• Communicate basic updates to parents when required.
• Assist teachers and centre staff with classroom preparation, student records and simple administrative tasks.
• Support centre activities, enrichment sessions and holiday programmes when needed.
• Uphold FLS’ professional standards, values and child-safe practices at all times.

Requirements

• Diploma holders are welcome to apply.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Diploma in Early Childhood, Education, Child Psychology or related fields will be preferred.
• Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with students and parents effectively.
• Enjoys working with primary school children.
• Patient, responsible, organised and attentive to children’s needs.
• Able to manage small groups of students and maintain discipline positively.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience in student care, childcare, tuition, enrichment or teaching assistance is an advantage, but not compulsory.
