Are you passionate about building modern web applications, driving engineering excellence, and enabling large-scale digital transformation initiatives?

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (Web) to join a mission-critical technology program supporting enterprise and government-grade environments.

Location: Singapore

Working Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP (Subject to Security Clearance Approval)

Contract Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility: Singapore Citizens Only

Salary: Up to SGD 9,000/month (All-Inclusive Package)

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer (Web), you will partner with engineering teams and stakeholders to improve development productivity, system resiliency, and platform adoption through modern engineering practices and scalable web technologies.

You will play a key role in assessing technical landscapes, driving engineering transformation initiatives, and delivering enterprise-grade web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and TypeScript

Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to improve delivery efficiency and operational resilience

Assess existing systems, workflows, and engineering processes to identify optimization opportunities

Drive adoption of engineering best practices including:

• CI/CD

• DevOps

• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

• Automation & Platform Engineering

Develop technology transition roadmaps and implementation strategies

Provide technical consultation and recommendations to stakeholders

Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation guides

Support Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives and pilot implementations

Collaborate across teams to share knowledge, tools, and engineering best practices

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering excellence programs

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of software engineering experience

Strong hands-on experience with:

• React.js

• TypeScript

Experience building scalable and responsive web applications

Strong understanding of:

• Frontend Architecture

• REST APIs

• Modern Web Development Practices

• Application Performance Optimization

Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise implementations

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes

Preferred Skills

Node.js Development Experience

Cloud Platform Experience:

• AWS

• Microsoft Azure

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

CI/CD Pipeline Implementation

DevOps & SRE Practices

Enterprise Architecture & Platform Engineering

Experience working in highly secured environments such as:

• Government

• Banking

• Financial Services

• Critical Infrastructure

Experience supporting Air-Gapped or Security-Cleared Systems
