Job Summary

Lead and manage billing operations by overseeing a team of billing specialists to ensure accurate invoicing, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance while maintaining strong client and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of billing specialists to deliver accurate and timely billing operations that meet client and regulatory requirements
• Review and approve billing reports and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness before client delivery
• Develop and implement billing procedures that enhance process efficiency and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Resolve billing and payment issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and uninterrupted operational flow
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all billing activities and transactions for audit and reporting purposes
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments to address and resolve billing concerns and improve service quality

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing billing in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Proven ability to collaborate with clients and stakeholders across organizational levels to achieve billing objectives
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or related functions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software applications to support billing operations
• Strong organizational and leadership skills demonstrated through effective team management
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills applied in client and team interactions
• Detail-oriented approach with analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure billing accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
