岗位职责

Job Summary: The General Technician is responsible for the planning, implementation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

Technical Maintenance:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, ensuring timely repairs.
  • Perform regular calibration and testing of equipment.

Installation and Upgrades:

  • Install, configure, and test new machinery, equipment, and systems.
  • Oversee upgrades and modifications to existing systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors for equipment installation and commissioning.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment specifications.
  • Create and update technical documentation and manuals.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and best practices.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other engineering and technical teams to address complex issues.
  • Provide technical support and training to other team members.

Equipment Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for system optimization and efficiency improvement.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives.

Emergency Response:

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls for system repairs.
  • Develop contingency plans for critical systems.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Higher NITEC / NITEC in Building Services / Elec/ Mechanical / Diploma in relevant engineering field
  • Minimum 1 year relevant working experience in hotels, service residences, residential or commercial properties
  • Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and installation.

Skills:

  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Full Time / Permanent / Up to 3 shift work / weekends and PH/ meals, shift allowance
