The project:

A large-scale infrastructure programme involving complex civil, structural, and MEP works across multiple sites. The scope includes new town development, advanced technology facilities, and integrated transport systems, with emphasis on systems coordination, asset renewal, and long-term operational resilience.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Lead technical design of scalable data lake and warehouse solutions with architecture teams.
• Champion governance, standards and best-practice data management across all platforms.
• Enable secure ingestion, transformation and integration of multi-source data services.
• Design, build and optimise robust, enterprise-wide data pipelines and flows.
• Drive innovation through continuous improvement of tools, platforms and capabilities.
• Collaborate across teams to transition solutions into service, supporting sustainable, low-carbon delivery outcomes.

You’ll need to have:

• Relevant degree qualification with a minimum of 12 years relevant leadership experience, delivering high-quality solutions using best practices (CI/CD, TDD)
• Proven Azure data engineering expertise (Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Azure SQL).
• Experience across enterprise systems (HRMS, ERP, CRM, Finance) with Power BI and analytics delivery.
• Collaborative, self-driven professional with stakeholder management and large programme experience.
