About the role

As a Site Engineer at ANTARA KOH (M) SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of civil and structural engineering projects. This full-time position is based in Johor / Selangor, where you will work closely with the construction team to oversee on-site operations and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and coordinating construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols

2. Interpreting and applying engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation to guide the construction process

3. Conducting site inspections, monitoring quality control, and identifying and resolving any technical issues that arise

4. Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address challenges and optimise project delivery

5. Maintaining accurate records and documentation of project progress, including daily reports and progress updates

6. Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team to ensure the successful completion of projects

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a site engineer or a similar role within the construction industry

3. Proven experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation

4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work well under pressure

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders

6. Proficient in the use of engineering software, such as AutoCAD, and project management tools

7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and demonstrate a commitment to safety
