Position Overview
The System & Configuration Manager leads systems engineering and configuration management practices for complex defence product development at EOS Innovation Singapore. The role ensures consistent, high‑quality outcomes across the product lifecycle by establishing clear engineering frameworks, documentation standards, and traceable requirements.
Primary Duties
This role requires broad technical understanding and sound judgement grounded in systems engineering principles. The System & Configuration Manager assesses project needs, defines and implements effective solutions, and acts as the primary engineering point of contact for assigned projects, supporting cross‑disciplinary collaboration and successful delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead project systems and configuration management activities
- Maintain accurate, approved engineering documentation
- Define and manage system and sub‑system development with subject matter experts
- Implement and control engineering change management
- Apply relevant national and international standards
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to define and communicate requirements and expectations
- Support subcontractor management to ensure design quality
- Evolve engineering practices to support growth while maintaining focus on short-term delivery commitments
- Contribute to key product documentation, including manuals and compliance materials
Education and Experience
- Engineering degree with 5+ years’ experience in a modern industrial engineering environment
- Exposure to electronic, electrical, and mechanical disciplines
- Experience with product lifecycle management and recognised PLM tools
- Training or experience in systems engineering and requirements management
- Configuration management experience preferred
