Prepare detailed tender submissions, quotations, and cost breakdowns to support competitive bidding and project acquisition
Manage progress claims and payments by performing accurate quantity take-offs, particularly for reinforcement bars, ensuring timely and precise financial tracking for clients and subcontractors
Draft, review, and administer subcontractor contract documents to maintain contractual compliance and mitigate risks
Identify, assess, and manage variation orders with clients and subcontractors to control project scope and costs effectively
Lead or support negotiations to finalize project accounts, securing favorable terms and resolving disputes
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to enhance team capability and project outcomes
Oversee contract documentation processes and coordinate with suppliers to ensure smooth procurement and delivery
Monitor and update tender status, summaries, and review reports to maintain accurate project records and inform decision-making
Execute additional ad-hoc duties assigned by management to support operational needs and project success
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or construction project roles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated through detailed cost management and contract administration
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills applied in client and subcontractor interactions
Ability to work proactively and responsibly under tight deadlines to meet project milestones
Experience working on Land Transport Authority (LTA) or other government projects, enhancing familiarity with public sector requirements and standards
