Technical Superintendent – Bunker Fleet

Salary: S$7,000 – S$11,000

Location: Singapore (or as applicable)

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Technical Superintendent to manage and support the technical performance, safety, and operational reliability of a bunker tanker fleet. The role requires strong marine engineering expertise, leadership capability, and hands-on experience in tanker operations and vessel maintenance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee technical management of bunker tanker vessels
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, class requirements, and safety standards
• Plan and execute dry-docking, repairs, maintenance, and inspections
• Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and operational readiness
• Coordinate with onboard Chief Engineers and external vendors/shipyards
• Manage technical budgets, spare parts, and maintenance planning systems
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for technical issues
• Ensure vessels meet environmental, safety, and operational compliance standards
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and reporting

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Sailing experience as Chief Engineer / Second Engineer / Third Engineer
• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC Class 1 to 3)
• OR minimum 2 years of experience as Technical Superintendent in oil tanker / bunker tanker operations
• Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems and tanker vessel operations
• Experience in ship maintenance, dry docking, and classification society standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong written and spoken English proficiency
• High integrity, professionalism, and accountability
