Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Assistant role based in Setia alam, Shah Alam. The Human Resources Assistant will support daily HR operations, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, and updating HR databases and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). The role involves assisting with recruitment activities such as job postings, interview coordination, candidate communication, and onboarding documentation. The Human Resources Assistant will help administer employee benefits, track attendance and leave, and support payroll-related data collection. This role will also assist in organizing training sessions, maintaining training records, and supporting employee engagement initiatives and HR compliance activities. The position requires close collaboration with HR team members, line managers, and employees to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely HR support.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support day-to-day HR operations and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and basic HR data entry, reporting, and record-keeping skills.
  • Experience or interest in Benefits Administration, including assisting with benefit enrollment, documentation, and employee inquiries.
  • Ability to support Training activities, such as scheduling sessions, coordinating participants, and maintaining training records.
  • Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable working with digital HR tools and systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur with a professional, inclusive, and service-oriented approach.
