Job Overview

We are a growing manufacturing company based in Bandar Tenggara / Kulai.
In line with our business expansion, we are seeking a Process Engineer to support daily production operations, drive process improvements, and manage customer-related quality requirements in a contract manufacturing (CM) environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee CM production operations based on daily production requirements, including line productivity, efficiency, quality, yield and machine utilization
• Support daily production activities including process troubleshooting, root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Monitor and analyze process performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives (quality, cost, yield and productivity)
• Prepare and submit monthly production and performance reports
• Liaise and work closely with customers to manage corrective actions and resolve quality issues in a timely manner
• Initiate and coordinate internal cross-functional teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed effectively within the agreed timeline
• Build and maintain good rapport with customers through timely feedback on product quality performance and support customer requirements, including assisting in product evaluation activities
• Develop, generate and implement production-related documentation such as Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Control Plans and related documents
• Support new product or new process introduction, including trials, validation and process setup
• Develop and implement preventive, periodic and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Review, identify and recommend training programs for production personnel to enhance skills, knowledge and overall competency
• Maintain and regularly review spare parts inventory to ensure minimal production disruption and establish effective communication with spare parts vendors
• Ensure production operations comply with the company’s quality policy, objectives and customer requirements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or related fields)
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or CM environment is an added advantage
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality tools and documentation
• Good problem-solving, communication and coordination skills
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM5,000.00 per month
