Planner
Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Inventory Management
- Monitor, forecast, and plan material requirements to meet production schedules and business demand while minimizing excess inventory and waste.
- Track and control inventory levels, ensuring accuracy of data in the company’s MRP/ERP system.
- Analyze demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory reports to identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain integrity of Bills of Materials (BOM), master schedules, and material data.
- Work with Procurement, Production, Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to coordinate material flow and align production planning with operational needs.
- Ensure timely release of production orders, schedule adjustments, and resource allocation.
- Communicate planning priorities, deviations, and contingency plans to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and documentation procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of forecasts, plans, material movements, and production schedules.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in planning roles (production planning, material planning, supply chain planning) is preferred — ideally in manufacturing or semiconductor environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast trends.
- Proficiency with MRP/ERP planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of semiconductor or high-technology manufacturing is an advantage.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
