Job Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on and technically skilled Automation Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated systems within a fast-paced warehousing and logistics environment; Day/Night Shifts Available.

Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for warehouse automation equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues.
• Diagnose faults on conveyors, sorters, robotic systems, ASRS, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), barcode scanners, and related automation equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and equipment health checks.

Automation & Control Systems:

• Support PLC-controlled systems and basic automation programming adjustments.
• Monitor automation system performance and identify areas for process improvement.
• Assist engineers in automation upgrades, installations, testing, and commissioning activities.

Operational Support:

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace safety regulations and company SOPs.
• Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Assist in root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures.
• Support continuous improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives.

Requirements:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in automation maintenance, warehouse automation, manufacturing, or logistics operations.
• Experience working with conveyors, PLC systems, robotics, ASRS, or automated material handling systems will be an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
