We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities and supplier relationships to support freight transport and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and negotiate with suppliers for transport-related equipment, materials, and services
• Manage procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure purchasing records, contracts, and documentation are properly maintained
• Collaborate with operations teams to support business requirements

Requirements:

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Good understanding of procurement processes and supplier management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Salary: $3000 + commissions
