Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Sales Engineer will identify and qualify prospects, present technical solutions, and manage the full sales cycle for condition-based monitoring and inspection technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals and quotations, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer requirements. The role also involves providing basic technical guidance, coordinating post-sales support, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients. The Sales Engineer will track sales activities, report on pipeline progress, and stay current on product updates and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Strong Sales Engineering skills, including solution-based selling and technical presentations
• Proficiency in Sales activities such as prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals
• Customer-focused mindset with solid Customer Service capabilities
• Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to provide basic Technical Support and coordinate with technical teams for complex issues
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with industrial, electrical, or mechanical systems; exposure to thermography, imaging, or predictive maintenance is an advantage
• Comfort working on-site at customer facilities and willingness to travel within Malaysia as needed
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Willing to travel extensively for customer demos and possess own car
