About the Roles

Join a Material Handling Equipment Supplier as a Control System Engineer (Electrical Control Panels) based in Ubi, within walking distance from MRT. This is a permanent role on a 5-day work week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a salary package comprising Basic Salary + AWS.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage engineering integration activities for project delivery.
• Develop electrical circuits from concept and design through to programming.
• Program PLCs using brands such as Siemens, AB, Omron, and Mitsubishi.
• Install, test, start up, and commission electrical control panels in-house and at customer sites.
• Prepare full cost estimates for control panels required for projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in delivery systems.
• Conduct operational and maintenance training for customers and internal teams.
• Prepare Operational and Maintenance manuals upon project completion.
• Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and vendors to support project execution.
• Deliver work independently in both in-house and on-site environments.
• Ensure engineering standards are met and customer requirements are fulfilled.
• Submit accurate reports within required timelines.
• Carry out other assigned duties as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or Instrumentation Control System Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical Control Panels design, troubleshooting, and PLC Programming.
• Experience with material handling equipment or weighing systems will be highly advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in servicing and troubleshooting such systems is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic, electrical, and mechanical diagrams.
• Must know Auto-CAD.
• Willing to travel on short notice when required for projects.
