Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator (Outbound & Shipping) is responsible for coordinating and monitoring daily outbound logistics activities to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods. The role focuses on planning shipment schedules, preparing packing lists, coordinating with Kitting, Warehouse, and Outbound teams, and ensuring shipments are ready before vessel cut-off and customer delivery requirements.
The position works closely with Customer Service, Production Planning, and Shipping teams to support on-time order fulfillment and shipment execution. In addition, the role assists in the preparation and verification of export shipping documents, shipment bookings, and logistics-related documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and export regulations. The Logistics Coordinator also supports shipment tracking, transportation coordination, and continuous improvement of outbound logistics processes to achieve on-time delivery performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Work closely with Sales Support, Warehouse Operator, Planning, Purchasing, and Sales teams to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Prepare packing lists and coordinate shipment readiness before vessel cut-off and delivery deadlines.
- Consolidate orders and arrange shipments according to customer requirements.
- Track shipment status and provide updates to internal teams and customers when required.
- Monitor shipment schedules, transit times, and delivery performance.
- Allocate & keep all loading photos of all outbound shipments and keep them properly for record purposes.
- Ensure shipping documents are accurate and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly shipment reports and maintain logistics records.
- Perform ad-hoc duties and projects assigned by Management.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, warehousing or supply chain operation.
- Basis knowledge of shipping documents, import/export procedures and transportation coordination.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Excel, word)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention in detail.
- Able to communicate in English.
Minimum Level of Education Required
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
