Job Summary

As a Document Control Specialist, you will be a vital part of our Master Data Management (MDM) team, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our product data. You will manage the complete lifecycle of product information, from initial creation in our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to ongoing maintenance. Your meticulous work will directly support our New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing, and aftermarket services, enabling our teams to innovate and operate efficiently.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Data Integrity and Management:

  • Accurately create and maintain item master data and complex Bill of Materials (BOMs) in our PLM (e.g., Agile) and ERP (e.g., SAP) systems.
  • Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCOs) with precision, ensuring all changes are documented, approved, and implemented correctly.
  • Conduct regular audits of documentation to verify accuracy, clarity, and compliance with company standards.

2. Project Coordination and Support:

  • Manage and prioritize multiple data-related projects to meet critical deadlines for product releases and updates.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, providing prompt support for data inquiries and system maintenance requests.
  • Collaborate with project managers to generate and distribute status reports on key data points, including product lifecycle, compliance status, and cost.

3. Process Improvement:

  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline data management processes and enhance system efficiency.
  • Assist in organizing and disseminating critical product information, including drawing files, technical specifications, and reports, to ensure seamless information flow across departments.



Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a document control, data management, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Nice-To-Have:

  • Hands-on experience with PLM software (e.g., Agile PLM) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or new product introduction (NPI) environment.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin to collaborate effectively with international teams.
