We are seeking a Sr Developer/Engineering Manager to lead a small team of engineers working on backend systems supporting trading and technology platforms. This is a role that combines technical contribution with people leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 1–3 engineers
- Contribute to system design, development, code reviews, and troubleshooting
- Maintain and enhance production backend systems
- Drive technical delivery and support BAU operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system stability and continuous improvement
- Support the growth and development of junior team members
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience with Rust and/or C++
- Prior experience managing people or mentoring junior engineers
- Experience from trading, technology, gaming, crypto exchange, or related industries
- Comfortable balancing technical responsibilities with people management
- Low-latency systems experience is a plus.
